The truth is this...

You know how people like to say "Wake up! Reality isn't all that beautiful"

Or "That can't be it. There's no way things are that good"

"Careful. No friend is all that genuine. It's everyone for themselves these day"

Well, the truth is this. It is possible. Reality can be all that beautiful. Things can be all that good and friendships can be all that genuine. Our lives today have been clouded with thoughts of how it is impossible these days to find true friends, that reality bites. Yes, I really do mean clouded.

You must be thinking "She's got it all perfect. She's never had any hardships in her life. She probably has never felt any pain that's why she can say all this. Life is perfect bla bla... She's going to get hurt someday. Naive person. Grow up"

=) I get that a lot. Trust me, over the years, I have heard so much that I can write a whole chapter. But till today, I stand by that truth. You must be thinking "Man, this girl never learned anything did she?" Haha.. Well, I have learned enough to know that the world isn't a perfect world. I know that we can't change the world to our own liking. But we can change the way we see it and how we choose to live it.

Hardships? You mean the kind of pain where you can literally feel it in your heart? Or the kind that your stomach twists inside? And the time where you sit in the corner of your room in the middle of the night wanting to cry but the tears just won't come? Or is it the time when you feel so helpless and you just want things to end, literally? Yea, I've been through that too. Been through that enough to know that I can't do it on my own.

How many times have we been hurt by people that we have decided that "I need to live for myself and I don't need anyone because all they do is hurt me". I have had one of those friendships too. But I've been blessed to have a friendship that's always about being genuine, truthful, giving and forgiving.

So really, what is the truth? Sad and painful reality? Or in that painful reality there is something wonderful that we ourselves wouldn't believe it? I think I'll hold on to the latter. The blessings in life are God sent. The trials we face, God allowed them. So we can learn from them, grow stronger, become who He wants us to be and most of all, to know how helpless we are without a Father that we can hold on to. The hardest part of life isn't what we face or to what degree, it is facing it these trials alone. The best part of life isn't avoiding the trials we have to face, it is overcoming them by God's strength.

Jeremiah 33:3 - Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. See? Daddy promised great things.

And we only need to ... seek the LORD your God, you will find Him if you look for Him with all your heart and with all your soul. (Deuteronomy 4:29)

The truth is this... The world isn't perfect, but God is. The world isn't fair, but God is.

Love always,
Me

Sorry, but this blog is not about myself or Mi so I won't be answering your questions about my personal self.

I did mention that the world is NOT a perfect place as well as how people are NOT perfect. But in all of that we can still find joy and happiness in this life. A lot of times, it is whether we choose to or not.

I also did say that I respect very much your opinions but I hope you would do it with more decent words and respect.

Thanks

Dear anonymous

Its interesting how you find this blog "stupid" and yet you spend so much time putting up comments =)

And its even more interesting the way the blog owners have replied to your spam. Have you noticed? With gentleness. Anyone else would prolly have ignored you or told you to get lost.

Perhaps its you yourself who are so blinded that you do not see that there ARE people in this world who see the beauty in life. You immediately jump to the conclusion they're naive and dumb.

How do you know love doesn't change everything? How do you know God doesn't exist? Or have you learned all you need to know about the universe in the 20 or less years you've spent in this world?

I ask that you open your eyes and open your heart. Your comments are rude, idiotic, and childish. I dont mean any offence, but its a fact. And yet look at how they responded to you. Did they call you names or yell and scream? No. They exercised restraint. Another person even told you that God loves you. You know why?

God makes all the difference. And He made all the difference in these people.

LOL this is soo funny! Could this be the same annon who spam my blog? LOL. I guess when it comes to politics and religion it is a never ending debate.

I quote again one's religion is not the exclusive source of truth.

I still stand by being a free thinker. Everyone claims that their religion is the best.. I am so confused.

that annon must be a buddhist.

This is your blog therefore you have every right to blog about how great Jesus is. But alot of people out there may get offended by certain things you mention....

you girls should just ignore someone who leave such comments. Why bother? (",)

Well, I read but I do not agree fully as to what is typed here.. I guess everyone is entitled to their own views and opinion...

I've been through lots of shit that there's 101 questions in my head about religion that could not be answer to my satisfaction.

To those of you who see the good in it, well thats good. Life isn't perfect but it is how you make the best out of the situation- I agree with that saying but that doesn't mean I have to believe in god to see that...

By approving and acknowledging such people who leave such comments is childish too.

I'll either fight back or ignore.

There's no need to be nice to such idiots.

Hello

Kathryn: Well said =) You're joy has always been one that amazes us and truly the light in you comes from God. Thanks so much for being that light so we can see and witness His miracles. Continue to trust in Him and delight in Him as He brings everything to pass. Hugss!!

Cow: Thanks for commenting. Yes, here we do say that Jesus is a wonderful God not because we're trying to "promote" but He really is simply wonderful because we have encountered it all. These things can't be lied about. Also many will disagree and be offended but truly, that is not what our intentions are. This is merely our memories that we wish to state hoping that it gives encouragement to someone out there who reads (Christian or non-Christian, who needs it or doesn't need it).

This blog was never meant to impose our thoughts on anyone so no one should ever have to take offence. But either way, we live in an imperfect world and this debate has been going on for ages. It is somewhat painful to have to hear what anonymous has to say but really, it's okay. He/she just has not experienced what we have that's all. It is not one experience we can explain in words or convince them. Everyone deserves a reply whether worth it or not =)

I'm really sorry to hear that you have been through so much and it must have been hard for you. But I guess all things has it's reasons for happening for the better. Life isn't perfect and yes you may not need God to make the best out of a bad situation but I guess for us, with God, its even better =)

I hope you won't stop asking questions and seeking the answers of your heart. Also hope that you keep an open heart to hear these answers and maybe, just maybe you'll see why those answers are that and the reasoning behind it all. Just maybe you'll find the answer to your heart's question.

Take good care of yourself.
God Bless!

It's really funny that you would still come back to take note and listen attentively, and ev'n more so respond to these people whom you call, label and accuse of being 'stupid'... doesn't that make you out to be 'foolish' as well, if not more so? =) So, since we're all 'stupid' people in our own right, why fight among ourselves? When we go right down to the core and essence of who we are, we are all but human beings. So, from one fellow human being to another, let's work towards mutual understanding and edification. You, i would imagine, would take the stand of being someone against war, and what war advocates and implicates, so, why are you willingly trying (the operative word is: trying) to start one here? In case you haven't noticed (yet), there ain't gonna' be one. There never will. Sorry to disappoint you mate... so, it's either you pack your backs and go somewhere else in search of war, of, you are more than welcome to continue to mingle around with us stupid people... and, who knows? You might ACTUALLY learn something!

"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written:

"I will destroy the wisdom of the
wise;
the intelligence of the intelligent I
will frustrate."

Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength.
Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things - and the things that are not - to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God - that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."

- 1 Corinthians 1:18-31 -

I see a pattern. it seems as if anonymous may not be so "anonymous", but someone very familiar. Someone close, or who knows the people who "own" this blog.

anyway, why so serious ?

Attn: Marc Lee

It's good that you're seeing a pattern here, but, please specify which 'anonymous' you are profiling here; 'cos one (anonymous) is most certainly not synonymous with the other (anonymous).

The same goes with your borrowed caption/question.

Appreciate. Word.
